Shortcuts To and From Hull

FROM ROUTE 128:
Go to Route 3 (Toward the Cape) get off at the first exit which is WASHINGTON ST. in Braintree. At the end of exit take left and first right onto CHURCH ST. Go to end - take left onto ELM ST. Go straight. After passing school on left go to top of hill and take left onto HOWARD ST. Straight to the end. Take a left at light. Cross over Route 53 (light) - straight across. Go past the old shipyard (hundreds of parked cars) to the light. Take a right onto 3A.

Go over Fore River Bridge - follow 3A past Hingham harbor to rotary. Route 3A turns right toward Scituate - DON'T GO THAT WAY. Go halfway around the rotary toward Hull/Nantasket/Courthouse. Go up hill and down thru two lights and you'll be on GEORGE WASHINGTON BLVD. After carousel on the right watch for sign that says "thru traffic turn here". Turn right. Road goes by beach on right & hotel on left. Road bends. At War memorial in middle of road stay left onto NANTASKET AVE.

FROM THE MASS PIKE OR EXPRESSWAY SOUTH
Go to the end of the Pike in Boston and get onto Route 93/3 South (Southeast Expressway) to Exit 12 - Neponset/Quincy Get off and take a right at the lights. Follow signs and go by Wollaston Beach. Follow signs to Nantasket/Hull into Route 3A.

Go over Fore River Bridge – follow 3A past Hingham harbor to rotary. Route 3A turns right toward Scituate – DON’T GO THAT WAY. Go halfway around the rotary toward Hull/Nantasket/Courthouse. Go up hill and down thru two lights and you’ll be on GEORGE WASHINGTON BLVD. After carousel on the right watch for sign that says “thru traffic turn here”. Turn right. Road goes by beach on right & hotel on left. Road bends. At War memorial in middle of road stay left onto NANTASKET AVE.

BACK TO BOSTON
Go past the Clarion Hotel and take next right onto GEORGE WASHINGTON BOULEVARD. Follow that road, go around the rotary onto 3A in Hingham. Follow 3A. Go over Fore River Bridge.

If going to Route 128 take a left onto SOUTH ST. at lights after rotary. Follow around, cross over lights at Rt. 53 And take a right at lights onto HOWARD ST. Go to top of hill and take a right onto ELM ST. Go about a mile thru several lights and take a right onto CHURCH ST. There is a big UU church on the corner. Go straight thru light onto ramp to Route 128 or Expressway.

If going to the Expressway after coming over Fore River Bridge follow signs to Wollaston Beach and onto Expressway to Boston.
